About Me & The Language of Grass
I am a suburban dwelling twenty-something, working part-time while I attend grad school. This blog combines a variety of my interests including nature, outdoors, farming, gardening, eating, and cooking. In the blog, I will explore wild places, my attempts to eat locally and grow some of what I eat (on a very tight budget!), possibly some home cooking, and my views on wilderness, the environment, and why place matters so much all from the confines of my Missouri apartment.

I love that garden. When we lived there, we went to the Garden all of the time. Now we try to go every time we get back to St. Louis. One of the best gardens i've ever seen.
